Can’t speak to interruption during the test, my advice to wait it out, worst case you may have to retest.

Your spouse can reattempt two more times. Spouse will need to pass before the final decision can be made though I think individual steps continue regardless since everyone goes through their own merit.

Hello,
My spouse and I did the test yesterday. I passed with 19/20 but she failed.
I have 2 questions.
During my test my son came and talk to me. I don’t think he appeared on the camera but I raised my hand to tell him to go/wait. There were some noises as well. Do you think my test will be rejected for that ?
In case it is approved will application progress to next steps or will I wait my spouse?

Thanks for you response

1. Nobody is allowed to enter or come near you during the test so it is better you lock the room before test. The camera takes random pictures throughout the test to make sure none else is nearby and you don't look or talk to anyone. Having said that, since your son didn't come in the video frame and if the camera didn't capture that instance when you were talking, the office will update it as completed. If not, the officer will invalidate the test and ask you to retake the test or worst case come for an in-person test.

2. Each application progresses on its own until the Oath. So if yours is marked completed it will progress to next steps of LPP without waiting for your spouse. After that you will wait there for your spouse to complete their steps as the office will schedule the family application for Oath together.

Does the test invite first show up in the tracker and then email? or vice versa?
In most cases, yes it shows in the tracker first and then email. But in few cases the officers are prompt to send out the email first and then update the tracker.

Citizenship Test Scheduled for August 16. Status Update on August 2, tracker updated on August 6.
Still did not receive the test email. Planning to call ircc tomorrow, but I assume we can take the test anytime within the window even if the email was not received?

You would get it mostly tomorrow or latest by Tuesday. I got it only 2 days before the test and so did many in the May group so you should be good.

The test link is generic, same for everyone and also available in the tracker. It will let you sign-in only when your test window is open. Once you sign-in, and complete the initial steps, then you would get the actual test link to complete the rest of the sign-in process and start the test.

Below is the test link, which IRCC will be sending you in the test invite.

Hi, everyone
We have received test emails for both adults in our family group today but there is no update in the tracker as of now. It still shows everything 'in progress'. I guess they will update it soon.
Tracker has 2 business days delay and only updates from Tuesday to Saturday. You will most likely see the tracker updated tomorrow for the test scheduled, around 5 AM EST.

When did you apply and get AOR?
A humble request to all- when posting any updates, please quote the message which has your details or mention some basic details about your application such as application date and AOR date so others get an idea about timelines.
