Update: received an email invitation to the Oath Ceremony - it’s in person in Saskatoon.
I also have a question regarding the number of guests I can invite with me. The instructions said “guests are welcome” and that’s it. I wanted to bring 2 individuals with me. Does anyone have any thoughts if that’s fine?
Hello everyone and happy new year. My application has been stuck on Prohibitions since Dec 3, 2024. Does anyone else have a similar experience? I called IRCC just before the holidays but the agent couldn’t give any reasonable explanation as to why there’s no progress.

Only prohibitions left for you? I am stuck in prohibitions as well. No updates since Nov 6, 2024. I dont even know why I am stuck in prohibitions. I have never committed any crime nor am I a refugee. I guess it really depends on your luck.
Hi Lady_Ashka! Any updates on tracker? Mine is still waiting on fp. I called them today, and they said they havent got it yet, guess the letter stucked somewhere.

Hi All, I have a question, if mine or my spouse’s employer is changed after submitting the application(current status : in progress), should this be reported to IRCC? If yes, how it should be done? through phone or webform?

Your employment record concern the period from the date you signed your application to 5 year backward.
Changing employer after your application has been submitted does not change your application as it is post the 5 year period.
What you should inform IRCC about is any changes in some of your circumstances (i.e. which are relevant).
I am not aware - in the context of citizenship applications - that employment changes are part of circumstances that have relevance.
You may have to mention job change in the context of interview (if that is to happen) specifically if you are asked about your current employment situation.
I let others correct my statement or confirm. In any case, use at your own risk as I am not an expert nor am I qualified to give advice.

@moonlightshadow Thank you for your response. I did some of the research on CIC website where I found conflicting info. I will wait to hear from others too. Neither of us have any interview scheduled. I have planned to call IRCC tomorrow morning just to be sure.
IRCC need not be informed about job change after submission. They concerned about things till the date of submission.
Address change, plan to leave canada for more than 2 weeks, charged with crime are some of things you need to inform IRCC. Job change is not one of them.

Hallo everyone
I just found this forum and now I m concerned
I submitted my application early July, did the test on sept which I passed (but was not confirmed on the tracker)
My tracker showes everyone is still “in progress”! See everyone here getting invites to the oath makes me wonder if there is an issue with my application
How can I contact immigration Canada to figure out the issue?
