As far as I saw from others' timelines, it indicated that anytime they received GU it was either regarding their background check (criminality, info sharing & security) being completed or eligibility being passed. You can try calling IRCC and find out your current status. Hopefully, you're near the finish line.

THATS TRUE WHEN I GOT GHOST UPDATE WHEN I CALLED EVERYTHING WAS PASSED. GIVE A CALL TOMORROW

In GCkey account what does background check status is after you call and agent said everything was passed? Is it "we will let you know when we start your background check" or "we will let you know if we need any other information"?
 
Mine changed to we are processing your background check to we have not started your background check.
If someone knows why this happen, can you please comment
