Update: Oct 2021: Refusal of study permit: Purpose of Visit: Re-Applied in Nov 2021, Second refusal in Feb 2022: That contravened previous stay in the country: Web form raised on 5 Feb 2022 and provided copies of passport pages confirming that never travelled to canada or other countries. Today got refusal letter on portal, refusal reason is that Purpose of Visit:

Submit application for leave and judicial review, stated that no written reasons received then federal court will push visa office to send GCMS notes. This will hardly take 10 days if u submit application for JR and cost is only 50 cad

Your case is very simple and easy for Judicial Review and that is the only option. Your reconsideration request has been rejected but they will not respond u unless u email them and they will confirm u have been refused in reconsideration. Go for JR or submit new application

Yes not more because its federal court order for the tribunal to release written reasons quickly as Rule (9) of the federal court of IRRC.

am i right to think: that someone just went and updated the portal and sent a refusal letter, are they not obliged to reply to my webform saying that it has been assigneed to VO.

I got settlement proposal from ircc lawyer.... case finished now and new visa officer will determine my file and refusal visa file will reopen. No fine no lawyer charge etc
