Called CIC today.
The agent was a bit surprised that my application did not receive an AOR.
I provided the delivery confirmation , and said. she will forward it to the respective "office" (Not sure which one).

I received an email indicating below
Regarding your case status enquiry, we can confirm that your application was received on January 24th, 2020. Please note that disruptions and restrictions due to COVID-19 may have an impact on processing times, the current posted processing times may not be accurate.

Still NO AOR. :-(

Looks like there is not even a single case receiving test invite since Mar 2020. Wondering how many cases are piled at this step, and any plan from CIC to speed up.

Im a frequent viewer here but i didnt submit my info. My applicantion was sent and received in Jan 2020. I recently got a fingerprint request and i just submited via local RCMP office. Just sharing here, guess they are still doing their work.

Close enough to yours. I sent mine on Jan 2020. No AOR. No Fingerprint request either.
I called them with the Canada post tracking, only to be told that they received my app.
Told me to call after 4 weeks. (that's disheartening). I told them just get me an AOR. and I can put the paperwork to rest.
