If you don't want to use a representative you can leave out the Use of Representative form.

We sent our app to Mississauga on Feb. 13 and it was received on Feb. 16. I've gotten no communications at all from CIC. Should I call at this point, since it's been nearly 2 months?

I would say follow up. 2 months is a long wait. Mine took only 43 days.

My husband has recd his Indian police clearance today. So now that we have both UAE and India am uploading them today itself. Medicals and schedule A has already been uploaded. Next step is an update from CIC on the visa office and AOR2 follows

Me and my sponsor received out AOR1 on 10th April, today I finally managed to link my application online. I haven’t received any documents request. Is there a possibility that you received your docs request once you linked your application?

I'm assuming you didn't send your Schedule A upfront with your application package? I got my request when I linked my gckey. I linked it around March 29 9:40am ET and the request is dated and timed the same. It was already waiting for me basically. Scroll down and look for the message and click the arrow to check if you got any request letter. You'll have to click "view message" or something. I don't remember now.

Oh okay. No i didn’t send my schedule A upfront. Just now I linked my application and it’s showing no message as of now.

Your best bet is to call CIC. They might tell you they are still working on Jan applications but tell them someone who applied end of Feb has received their AOR1.

I tried but wasn't succefull it says there is no record of application.

You have to try different combinations

I sent it Feb 25 and it was received feb 27. They returned it March 12
