What do you guys mean by receipt? I was only given the E-Medical form and a tiny handwritten receipt saying how much I paid them.
today finally got access to eCas and its look like that the inland/outland issue is fixed
(finally got a CIC agent willing to help over the phone yesterday-they send and email to Missisauga- no idea if this is linked or not).
Sponsorship Application Status: In Process
1-We received your application to sponsor MixoQc on February 13, 2015.
2-We started processing your application on April 27, 2015.
Permanent Residence Application Status: Application Received
1-We received MixoQc's application for permanent residence on February 13, 2015.
2-Medical results have been received.
Note that its for Quebec so there is another step for SA, something with the MICC, so i think it will be a bit longer than you guys.
Any comment ?

I'm applying through Quebec too.
You will receive the SA and a letter attached. You'll take this letter and attach with the Quebec forms and send.
Then, when accepted (about 2-3 weeks) your app will be sent to office abroad.
Thanks for the info, DanSlh
Do you think i can pay a visit at the MICC (MIDI) direct at their Montreal offices to save time or the post is fine.
About QC fees, we paid already 1040CAD, we need to pay 220 more for Quebec, right ?

I'm afraid I don't really know if you can drop off in person.
The fee is $272 for Quebec.

You can follow the link below for the fees table:

It could be fun to pass and say Hello to those guys ;D , i will check if it is possible.

When you go for medical Doctor Provide a Receipt with Bar-code(Depend on type of Medical) which has Unique Bar-code for Each Applicant who have Medical Done.
When Officer will Check your File then Your Result can be Checked by using that Bar-Code.
Best of Luck

This is called an up front medical exam.
You can contact a panel physician directly to get your medical exam.
Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application.
If the doctor works with the eMedical electronic system:
they will give you an up-front medical notification printout.
If the doctor works with a paper system:
they will give you a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form.
You must attach that form to your application before you submit it to the visa office. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application.

You just need to send the e-Medical with the barcode. Don't worry about the payment receipt from the doctor...
Yay - progress on our end!!
My hubby just got an email from CIC (I didn't get anything) saying:
Your application is now ready for finalization. (Whatever that means? Is that DM?) And then...
YOUR APPLICATION WILL BE FINALIZED BY THE CASE-PROCESSING CENTRE – OTTAWA (“CPC-O”).
He's been asked to submit (MORE) passport pictures, and a(NOTHER) copy of his passport photo page for his Permanent Residency card. I find this hilarious because he already sent in EIGHT passport pictures with the application, and at least one copy of his passport. Oh, and also, there is this rather strange request:
On a separate piece of paper, please provide the following information:
- Height (you/your spouse/common-law partner)
- Eye Colour (you/your spouse/common-law partner)
Overall, I'm excited!! I think this means we're nearly at the end of this marathon!
Here are my stats.
Fees paid 31/1
Medicals submitted 13 + 19 /2
Application received on 16/2
Aor on 9/4
Decision made on ecas 1/5
Finally! It notes that they have sent us a letter on the 28th of April. Won't I get an email? Any way to find out which visa office our application is going to? Any idea if we will be set for September?
Congrats and good luck to all!

if you provided email in application, then you usally get SA in email. If you haven't recieve email from them today. Call CIC on monday to ask, where my application went (visa office). If there was no email then you have to wait for the letter to arrive. Where does your sponsored person lives. Then we can answer which VO it went to probably.
Hi everyone!!!
I sent the sponsorship's application on February 17 and I have not received any letter yet!

Hi,
Call CIC on Monday to inquire about it. From which country are you sponsoring your spouse?
Our ECAS update stated that a letter had been sent to us on April 20. It had almost been 2 weeks since this update today and I called to enquire this morning. They stated that the letter had never been sent and that they would send an email that should arrive within a day or 2. CIC also stated we got SA and my hubby's PR application was already sent to the Ottawa visa office. From now on I will call them up for information instead of waiting so long. The agent on the phone was really friendly and I only had to wait 7 minutes to talk to her.

Sry. We submitted Feb 19, and it got there Feb 23. So yea, it's been way past the processing time now
Our application was received 27 Feb 2015.
I wrote my email in the application. We haven't received any AOR or SA yet.
This wait is the worst, don't even know if application is there or not.
