Ours was received on the 24 Feb, and had been trying to be as patient as possible. But there are now people with SA who submitted after us, and now that the CIC website is updated to say they are working on applications received on the 25th Feb - and that was as of 21st April.

Yes we've called them and they gave us a file # but can't even log onto ECAS yet. They said our app is there but they haven't opened it yet, but they should anytime now... Same thing they said last week. But still nothing. So frustrating.
people who haven't received either AOR or SA, try calling them. we didn't get any mail also, had to call them a few times and they finally agreed to look up our file, found out we got SA on Apr 21st and it went to Ottawa already.

Lamja they received my application Feb 6 and I'm not even showing on the system so I'm sending in another application cause they can't find it..
I can't waste my time on them trying too find it and then they can't find it in the end....
Hey all, question for you: I'm a Feb 6 applicant; already have SA and file has been transferred to Ottawa. I got my medical done this past Monday and have the E-Medical form. The doctor said they'd forward my stuff to CIC within 10-14 days. Is there anything I need to do with this e-medical sheet?? Do I have to send a copy too or the doctor takes care of everything?

If you want to play it safe you have a couple things you can do.
Scan a copy of it and email it to Mississauga and also Ottawa,
Then you can send it by courier to Ottawa just be sure to mark your application number, name, make sure the picture is attached.
By doing these steps you are helping to eliminate any set backs.

When my wife got her medical done. She was told that doctor will send the result directly to CIC and they did. The doctor give you a recipt and a paper. You need to send those to CIC so they can track the E-Medical and have acess to look at it.
Yea send what ever the doctor gave you. Make a photo copy first and keep it safe with you. Send the orginal recipt+the form that doctor gave you and send it to them
