Am back on this forum! :)

Went to Passport Canada office to apply for kids passport. The officer accepted the application but put a pending document request. I had a notarized translation of my kids birth certificate from India which was not acceptable. He asked me to find a certified translator on STIBC.org and get a proof of parentage translation from the birth certificate.

Do I need to get this translated in person? Anyone use this service around Vancouver? What are the charges like?

TIA!

I have used a translator service for my partners application: A & T Interpreters. They are in Vancouver and I sent her the notarized documents by email. I paid around a hundred dollars for the documents to be translated.
