Got an update today finally. May 29 oath ceremony scheduled. No email yet. Good luck to all those who are waiting.hope these are signs of movement among December applicants.
I called them recently and the answer was that the website says it could take 8 months. So, nothing is pending and I’m still within reasonable timeframes.
I also got a GU yesterday. First GU was April 12, second GU on May 14th. Still showing Oath not started, nothing changed .. hoping to see some movement soon.

Finally got the certificate after emailing Calgary visa office that I need the e-certificate since I will be traveling next week. The agent replied right away and I rushed to passport office for expedited process.
I am finally over with dealing with IRCC. 13 yrs total with multiple scenarios e.g. visa, permit, pr docs, prtd, sponsorship and ultimately citizenship. What a long (and a lot) of journey!. This forum has been my sole source of information throughout every process. I can't thank you enough to all contributors of this forum for sharing their info and experience.
