GCkey is only for applicant, using only Applicant info.
ECAS can be used under sponsor or applicant. Both myself (sponsor) and applicant can view the application in ECAS!

I linked the application to my GCKey account (I'm the sponsor) but using the PA's info at sign-up and it seems to all be working fine. Hope that wasn't a mistake!

I applied for PR under spouse category in Dec 5th 2018 from India and stil waiting for AOR . How long does it take to get AOR. Can we apply for visit after getting AOR . ?

Now it takes aprox 2 months to get an AOR. Yours will come soon!

Sure, you can apply for. But if your PA needs visa, it is high probability that your visitor visa will be refused

You can pay anytime. no worries.

Just provide them the proof after you pay, if they request it from you

Hi,
In the Ecas, it says my application is "in process" and in the GCkey it says: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility".
What does it mean? If they have not started, why it says it is in progress?
Will they change the above current status before approving the sponsor or they will directly say the sponsor is approved.

My timeline:
Rec. Dec 5th
AOR1 : Feb 1st
