How is the COPR received? Does the Visa Office send it back to you alongside the stamped passport?

When a decision has been made regarding your application they will send you a passport request (PPR). Now, depending on the principal applicant's country(whether the PA needs a Canadian visa to enter Canada) this may just be a photocopy of the passport or the actual passport itself. Once you send in your PPR documents you will be eventually returned via mail: a) passport with a one-entry visa + COPR, or b) COPR for PA's with visa exempt countries.

Every time PA tried to log in, GC saying the GC Key has been revoked. However neither of us revoked the account.

It seems it was a glitch because today I can log in again no problem.

Hi!

We passed our medicals on 21st June and uploaded in gc key additional documents on 26th June. Status of Review of Additional Documentd in gc key still shows we need additional documents. Does anyone know when it should update and what status it will change to?

BTW gc key shows we are on BGC. Can you also tell how long it may take and what’s next?

Hi, here's our timeline

Dec. 21, 2018 - app received
April 16, 2019 - SA, medical request
April 17, 2019 - file transferred to cpc-m from cpc-s
April 25, 2019 - medical done/ results received
June 10, 2019 - they started processing PA's papers

Sponsor - canadian citizen
PA - from the philippines

I don't have a gckey i just look for updates on ecas

Whats your thought guys? Requesting a gcms note would prompt them to open our files and go to next step? Or will it delay the process?

I requested and got mine. I think requesting GCMS notes etc slowing or speeding up process is just a myth. There is too much variables to consider. Btw, i still am stuck in Sydney with nothing after medicals passed.

I agree to that..it shouldnt have any impact on the timeline..but when my file was in process before, i ordered gcms..the notes and PPR came almost together..Dont know how..
