This message that you state about ‘you may not hear from us for a while’ is not on ECAS. Its on GCKey which is a separate online tool. On ECAS line 2 would state ‘we started processing your application on...’ (date given). That’s your AOR2.

So that’s not AOR2. Thats the standard message on GCKey.
I am praying and believing for the same. I have this feeling that I am going to receive some form of news about our application in the month of July. My husband is getting a little sad about how long the processing is taking. It’s like we knew it was going to be long but we just didn’t anticipate the feelings that would come along with the waiting process. God is able!

Actually, this situation is outrageous and more when we see that there are applications that were sent after us, they already received PPR. Here we are still stuck in Sydney

Yea, it kind of makes you wonder what’s the hold up here. I have a friend and he was able to get his wife here to Canada through this process from Albania within three months. Like everything done and her arriving here within three months. That was a couple years ago though Either way, we’ll make it through.
Is there anyone who can help me understand all the acronyms we use here. I understand now AOR is acknowledgement of receipt, PA is primary applicant and I think SA is Sponsorship Approved but there are some other ones like DM ??? Sometimes I read through some of the comments and I have no idea what ppl are talking about due to the acronyms Thanks
