Literally hadn't heard a word (no emails and no updated on the online portal) since we received a message saying our application had been sent to Mississauga. Then, today, we got an email asking for my wife's passport. I'm told that this is the final step before COPR and that it basically means she has been "approved". Online portal still hasn't been updated but YAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone who has been putting up with me since I first started posting here and being an anxious mess all the time.

This is expected. That is why I constantly ask people to stay calm and don't ask "how long" question. It is too personal

I received my GCMS notes today, and they were generated on the 8th so security and eligibility hadn't started.

Yes, 8th April, I requested them on the 5th so they sat on them for a fair while. May order again once I’ve landed!

Outland applicants don’t get a work permit. Are you inland or Outland?

As you’re Outland, there’s no work permit.

Work permits are for inland applications. You can only work once you’re granted PR via Outland.

I’ve heard nothing since visa office transfer to Mississauga on March 8th 2019. However today I logged into ECAS and noticed a change. It has always said “we started processing your application on Feb 14th 2019”, but this week, that has now changed to “we started processing your application May 15th 2019”. Is this a sign that I may be in the last stages just before DM? Or just wishful thinking?

I’ve logged in GCkey, no changes there, and it has said on GCkey that they are processing my background checks ever since I could log in and got AOR on Feb 14th/15th 2019.

Yeah it states that they started processing on the PR application.

Is this under the PA’s bit? Is it line 2?

Yeah line 2 has had the date change, in Principal Applicant’s ECAS.

If you’ve got 5 lines on there and line 2 is the date change under the PA’s side then it’s technically AOR2, which means they’ve begun to actually process your eligibility and background checks.

Keep your eye out for a PPR email and change to DM on ECAS

Thanks Josh! Yeah I’ve gone from 4 lines to 5 lines now on Principal Applicant’s ECAS. Have a great weekend.
