Yesterday i speak to CIC agent. She told me that because of work sharing concept between VO's, CIO sydney is processing some outland applications in CIO sydney itself. Hope without transfer of file everyone should get PPR mail suddenly. Wish everyone best of luck who are on same boat.

Can someone let me know how long should a covering letter be and what it includes. Is it just a statement confirming the address?

You can get a temp passport while you wait for the certificate. You need proof of travel. I got my daughter's passport this way.

How long is the processing? Cause we are planning to move to Canada immediately..because of the weather (tropical to cold place) and my husband’s limited vacation because of his work.

Don’t worry same here, I gave my biometric on 12th February. Still show didn’t receive ur fingerprint. I wrote on webform. Then they replied they received my fingerprint.

Hey, I was asked to send additional documents. I have birth certificate(late registered), secondary school certificate, but I don’t have voter’s ID card!

Will it be a problem if I don’t have it?

Additional Documents:

• Birth certificates issued in this country: If a birth is registered late, include the original baptism certificate and other original documents establishing identity such as:
  • Old school records (Fifth class, Middle standard and Matriculation/secondary school certificate), and
  • Voter's ID card.
