I got an email from CIC a couple of days ago mentioning that a refund for $550 has been initiated to my credit card. I think I overpaid especially since most applicants on this forum seem to have only paid $1040 for the application and I had paid $1590.

Does anyone know if this means anything, the fact that they're looking into payments and refunding what is unnecessary? I was just wondering if there is a timeline explaining all this.

I just have a question for whoever has applied or is planning to apply for visitor visa for your sponsored spouse. Do you apply online or on paper?
