No, by logging in with Sponsor's information you should be able to see both Sponsor's side, and the PA's side of the application. Log into your eCas and look around, you will find PA's status on the right side under "Permanent Residence Application Status".

I am the Principal Applicant and after two months of waiting while the Ottawa visa office had my application they sent me an email requesting an additional document. Not all visa offices will send an email, but if they need anything they will email the Principal Applicant. (As long as you provided an email address)
no i am still waiting for the 3rd lines.i just have 2 line app received and medical received. and may be one or two of the luckiest applicants from December applicants gets decision made or even gets closer to it after two months.so lets see who among us are the luckiest.

Yeah, unless you call them. My ECAS didn't update for two months and I was almost worried that maybe my application hadn't even made it to Ottawa. Lol
I just waited! Then I received the email requesting a form. I was glad to know it was being worked on. Now I am back to waiting.
