Anyone still not receiving the citizenship certificate after receiving the passport? I am worried that they forget to send back the citizenship certificate to me.
My case:
Mail application arrives at Gatineau on August 5, 2022.
Passport received (via Xpresspost) on October 13, 2022.
Citizenship certificate not yet returned to me as at November 2, 2022.
Anyone still not receiving the citizenship certificate after receiving the passport? I am worried that they forget to send back the citizenship certificate to me.

Sept27: Called for an update, no significant updates given
Oct11: Called for an update, no significant updates given
Oct 19: CC charged
Oct 20: CanadaPost notice to pick up a document. Picked up the document the next day, they had mailed back my Citizenship Certificate
Oct 26: Called for an update, was told that the passport is approved
Oct 28: Passport delivered to my home in Vancouver BC. (checked the tracking number from the Xpresspost package and saw that it was mailed from Mississauga on Oct 27)
We are a family of 4. We mailed in our application to Gatineau in August and my wife and I received our passports 2 weeks ago. My 2 kids on the other hand are still waiting for their passports. All our citizenship certificates were received in the mail that same week my wife and I got our passports. Anyone had the same experience? I tried calling customer service but could not get through. I also wrote them on Monday to inquire on the status but have not heard back.

I put travel date November 28 and submitted a copy of my ticket along with the application

I doubt they will ever reply to those status requests. Submitted mine Aug 2nd, already got my passport Oct 7th, never received a reply for the status request. Seen on the forum that people get replies 3 months after they submit a status request, unbelievable

I submitted an online passport status request 9 days ago and still no response. I called them today and was told my application is still in progress and pending approval. Applied at Service Canada on Sept 26.
Seems weird….my wife applied for her passport beginning of July and still waiting. if the 17 weeks are accurate then it would be mailed out next week, however, people that applied in Sept get theirs within 20 days.
Not fair at all, they should clear the backlogs first !

I applied at Service Canada on Sep 28th, I was given a timeline that it will be mailed out by Feb 02, 2023. But I was expecting that I’ll get it sooner.

Oh we applied around the same time! Which Service Canada did you apply at? I applied in Ottawa, which might be the slowest. I know people who applied in Brampton in the last month and got theirs in 2 weeks!
