Just for fun I'm going to give you my timeline:

Sent my application by mail on June 12, 2024.
Credit card was charged on June 25, 2024. Sent me back my citizenship certificate the same week.

Current status: "We are reviewing...".
This a f***ing joke.
I called then 3 times, every time they tell me that there is no issue with my file and ghat they are going to contact the people responsible for the processing. Everything nothing changes.

I emailed my MP: no response.

What's the next step? Involving the press?!

6 months. This is really weird. Check at Passport Canada office if they nearby.

I submitted for my first Canadian Passport on Dec 6 at Passport Canada office in-person. Anticipated mail date is Dec 20 i.e. Today.
Application has been approved on Dec 10th and the status on tracker is showing 'We are printing your Passport' since 10 days.
I called the Passport and they suggested when the batch gets printed my passport will be printed and mailed out and they don't have any tentative timeline by when the batch will be printed.
Any one in similar situation awaiting for passport printing after application was approved ? How long it might take for them to print the passport ?

Hi Everyone,

I have some questions about New passport application and mailing it. It would be helpful if you can answer my queries.

* Do I need to place photos in an envelope?
* Should all the forms and supporting document to be put in an envelope?
* How are you guys doing a 2-way courier service? How do you guys track the mail, application and its return?
* I am in British Columbia, should I send mail to following address:

Government of Canada
Passport Program
22 De Varennes Street
Gatineau, Quebec J8T 8R1

If you guys know any blog/post or videos who is describing above process, please help me redirect to it.

Thanks,
