Canadian Passport in person timeline

Went to Yonge & Sheppard for my passport, they said express applications has delays, and told me to take 10 day processing. I hope it’s processed in time, and not delayed

The 10 days processing seems to be the fastest there.. Got my passport exactly a week from application. I don't understand the logic LOL but I can't complain.

Hi, we submitted our passport in person at Service Canada Edmonton but unfortunately my daughter's photo was rejected due to shade/lights at the back. We got a rejection letter and had retake the photos. Do I need our guarantor to sign again the new photo?

My photo was rejected on Tuesday but I submitted another one same day. They retained the photo that have the guarantor's signature. When I asked if I need the guarantor to sign the new pictures again they said no. So you should be fine!

i have applied for my kid passport thru service canada on may 9th, they gave mail out date as jun7th, should receive by jun 14. i had to travel back ome as my mom is sick. so far tracker shows processing, when i called they said its not approved yet. we have travel on jun 25th. is there any way we can get passport on urgent basis? what steps should we take to get passport before travel.

You can request for urgent passport basis your travel on June 25. After you do, ask your guarantor and reference to pick the verification call from Passport Canada.

Thanks. since iam not in the country, can my wife go and request urgent passport ? do i have to give any authorization to her? she need to call and request to send application to passport office or she can go directly? can she go on jun 18th? their flight is @12 noon on jun 26th

Check for appointment at Passport Canada or try walkin. You can check for appointment and walkin time on the website. Take proof of your kids urgent travel. I don't have idea about authorization.

Express service requires proof of travel, meaning a flight ticket.

That said, you can go to any nearby Service Canada Passport Office. Be mindful that it is a Passport Office otherwise you will not get the express service.

Applied for family and myself May 29th. Only my son got application file number. Now after 3 weeks still I can not get application numbers for my wife and myself.
Yesterday they called my garantor and asked about my son. They called me but call was missed. I am concerned. How long does it take that in person passport with no rush being processed? Please advise.
