Canadian Passport application timeline

Hi

does anyone know how long does it take to get your passport when you apply in person?
I applied in person last week in Edmonton office and my credit card is not charged yet. I heard people usually get their passport in 5 business days. anyone can help please answer.

Processing times for passport applications submitted in Canada

• in person at a passport office: 10 business days
• in person at a Service Canada receiving agent: 20 business days
• by mail: 20 business days

Doesn’t include mailing time

did u pay in person ?? Did they give you a receipt showing payment made ??
Normally everyone gets a receipt from passport office showing a tentative mail-out date of passport.

Go there and check I guess.....

yes I applied in person in their office. they got my credit card info on paper instead of using the machine which was weird.

well then go back and sort the issue if u can.
