Applied on Apr 29 with no updates. Called on Friday and asked for expedited processing as out of processing timeline but they cannot guarantee anything.
yep. I expressed my disappointment to the agent and she acknowledged. Her tone did give me a clear message that nothing is going to be different. Endless wait is going to be the only option.

I applied on 17-May in dedicated Passport Office on May-17 and was told that passport printed by today and should receive by 10-Jun.
Surprised last week to see my wife's passport in mail on Friday.
But no update for me or kids (the kids were under me) -but hopeful that I should get the passport next week.
Seems like one week's delay isexpected and am OK with it as I didn't pay anything for expedited processing

probably depends on location. Brampton/Toronto/Mississauga/Scarborough are usually very delayed in all government related documents.

Guys , seeing that a lot of us are facing delays atm,

how accurate are the timelines for in-personal application and pick up as well?

I applied in-person at the Richmond,BC location and paid $20 for pick up option, they told me it's gonna be ready in 10 Bus days
it's been 6 business days but online tracker haven't changed and still shows we're still processing your application.

Applied in person - Apr 27

The reference number should be on the receipt, my was a first time application it starts with 3

It's just above the bar code on the receipt, could different for yours.

Whitby (ON) passport office seems to be processing fast

Applied In-person for 3 applications on 29th May 2024. Applied for normal processing times (10days) and was given 12th June as mail out date.
But got the passports on hand for all 3 yesterday (4th June 2024). Passports valid from 3rd June 2024. That is just 4 calendar days.

That seems to be too fast, considering I paid normal processing fees with no pickup, but I am not complaining :)
If anyone in Durham region, try out Whitby Passport office. Go early for Walk-in and you should be out in 45mins to 1hour.

Seems like passport office application submission is 10 days normal processing whereas some service canada offers 20 days (biz) as normal processing..
