Hi everyone ,
Just a question , Is anyone requested gcms notes (atip request) after arc ? Does it show anything about arc like a due date or something like that on notes ? Thanks

I requested the GCMS notes on March 14 but I have not received them yet, hopefully I will get them next week but we are still waiting on a decision on my husbands Arc. I also sent the web form to inquire about the status of the application as it already passed the 17 months but I am not sure I will get an answer because ours is a non routine case (because of the Arc). I did notice that they updated the information on Ecas, nothing really important just that they sent him a letter in Feb 2015 and an email in March 2015 requesting information which was the ARC, they did not update the fact that all the documents were received by them but I do have an email from Vienna confirming that they received it.
I am hoping that the notes will show the date the application is due for review, I don't want to get my hopes up because I was told it was due for review in January and the VO pushed it forward so who knows.

I am not sure how it works but I think they do the security and background checks before ARC.

How long did it take your ARC to be approved and which Visa Office are you dealing with?

Ya I'm assuming as well. Just trying to figure out the delay.
The Arc took over a year..
Amman.

My ARC was received in Ottawa a week after yours so lets hope we hear back something soon :)

Hi members, I have just done my second re-medical yesterday and hoping to get some positive reply soon, someone who already got request for PPR1 can confirm that Visa Officers only ask for passport photocopies, height and weight for PPR1 and also do we need to mail this information or can we just e-mail at LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca where we do case inquiries and update information.

Did they send you a passport request, After your second medical?

No, I have just done mine yesterday. How long u been waiting for response after your re-medical? I am hoping mine will be request for PPR1 as I had given them Karachi and U.S.A police certificate last year so i should be good for background and security check.

Stay Stong, I've read some of your previous posts, you sure have been through a lot.

I tell my Husband when we go back to Cananda,I hope we get our youth back!

This whole process has been stressful, yet humbling.

Praying for all of us to return to our families and friends

Hi violet 11 I'm just wondering did you receive your GCMS notes. I requested mine on march 15 no mail yet.

That's some long processing time for ARC, my ARC was refused in 4 business days even though i was accepted on H&C grounds but i won the appeal few days ago to reexamine the file. So hopefully good news.

Have you ordered your notes, to see what the delay is?
My arc is approved, it took over a year to approve it,
But my medical expired. We issued a new one in February.
Still no Passport Request.

I asked on another feed if it's a guarantee to get your Pr after approved arc and some guy said no.
Then I asked for him to explain and of course no explanation.

So I looked it up on the CIC site. Basically if the arc is approved then it is a garantee approval.
But say something happens to come up, then CIC can revoke the approved arc. But it is very unlikely.
Once a arc is approved all the record to that person is deleted. So the officer who issues the arc has to be 100% certain. When approving authority to return.

Congrats on winning your appeal.
