Stay Stong, I've read some of your previous posts, you sure have been through a lot.
I tell my Husband when we go back to Cananda,I hope we get our youth back!
This whole process has been stressful, yet humbling.
Praying for all of us to return to our families and friends
I know, I have no choice but to stay strong for my family. It is definitely stressful, frustrating and even depressing at times. I hope we all get to the end soon. It's almost 1 and a half month since I send in my ARC and I am still waiting. Mine was sent to Ottawa so I am hoping by the end of the month I will hear back something.
Hello everyone
There was an article in the Toronto Star about a former Argo player who was waiting for more than three years for his ARC, the day after they ran the article his ARC was approved. Here is the link
http://www.thestar.com/news/immigration/2016/04/17/former-argo-ecstatic-to-learn-he-can-return-to-canada-for-cancer-treatment.html
and the Minister's comment
Immigration Minister John McCallum has said dealing with these kinds of delays was a top priority for him in an interview with the Star, calling wait times of more than two years “unconscionable” and “unacceptable.”
Looks like the newspaper is more effective than the MP. This also shows that dealing with Arcs is not that complicated, if they have the resources they can deal with arcs very fast. My notes show they haven't done anything with my application, is just sitting in a corner gathering dust.

I haven't get any notice regarding approval just got automated re-medical request. How they notified you about ur approval e mail or send letter and is this document is required as evidence of approval?
Sorry I didn't see your question..
My Lawyer notified me. My Ecas doesn't show anything about the arc.
Only your Pr. 100% approval. ( that's what I've been reading)
Since my arc is approved I was all celebrating, then weeks went by and I started to worry like what if, it's not a garantee ticket home. My lawyer said I should be back by now. So it's very nerve racking. We have to wait for the passport request, followed by a approved visa.

How long ago was your ARC approved and how long did it take for them to approve it?

Thanks for replies, I applied for both applications myself and I did get emails from visa officer when ever they require any documents from me but still I feel they don't follow same system for all. Why they ask for 1st re-medical when they knew i might need to apply for ARC(given time for ARC approval is 6-12 months). Some visa officers extend medical or try to process soon before medical expiry I have read it here in forum. I don't understand why they take forever for some people, may be all depend on visa officers.

I've done 3 medicals. Not all offices will extend medicals. Sometimes i feel they do it to delay the applicants.

Why your ARC was sent to Ottawa? Isn't the immigration agent at the embassy who's suppose to deal wih it?

Send them an email reminding them that you are still waiting. They sent me the notes two days after I sent them a reminder email.
