Yes, that application number you received was for the PR. No app number for OWP was sent. That's why you have to use your UCI and family name instead.

Hi All,

I have small doubt in my mind.

My wife is on work permit in Canada. I recently sent her application for Permanent residency under spouse sponsorship in Canada class.

She already had an UCI assigned to her through the work permit. When I was filling out the PR application i didn't put in that UCI number in that application where it ask for UCI number. Would that be a issue? Any chances of application coming because of the error?

I sent my Inland sponsorship and OWP application on 13th Dec 2017 and CIC received my application on 14th Dec 2017 via Canada post.

31st Jan 2018- Received AOR and was able to link my application same day. ( PCC and Schedule A requested and submitted same day)

10th Feb 2018- I was able to link my OWP application to my account.

Anyone with the same processing timeline ?

Please help me, I’m kinda freaking out. I submitted my application beginning of December 2017 and CIC asked me to upload my police clearance certificate and schedule A which I did. But my profile still says action required but I uploaded the documents, did I do something wrong?

I've sent my documents 8th of February 2018 with work permit request.
I did not receive AOR yet and I believe it would take at least one more month to get it.

The question I have is, how long it would take to get the work permit after AOR receival?

It takes 3-4 months from the day they received your application.
