I was a bit scared too, but I read a LOT of posts on these forums and decided to do it without a lawyer. I don't think out case has any complications though.
You might be able to find people who've posted on this (or similar) forum and had the same situation as yours.
Only you need the medical exam. Your husband is already canadian he doesn’t need one
Yes my husband is a Canadian he doesn’t need any medical test.

hi Aashu no im applying from vancouver.
Hi guys, I submitted my application on January, and passed medical exam on May, then started th background check at the end of May. Now the background check is still ongoing, it said we are reviewing the additional documents you provide (schedule A), we are processing your background checking. It has been more than 4 or 5 moths, is it normally waiting such a long period for background checking?
The background check doesn't change status until after landing appt.

hi, I'm just putting the finishing touches to my application and have a question regarding the OWP form imm5710. For question 7 "Current country...." i've been in Canada as a visitor until Sep 30th (I applied for visitor status extension but not had an answer back from them yet) so for the status box should I put visitor or other and provide an explanation in the box? If I were to just select visitor then it requires dates to/from and I don't want it to appear like I am out of status if I put Sep 30th date. Any advice would be helpful, thank you
In out sponsorship application. There is a part that ask have you ever been refused visa to Canada or any country we mentioned yes and then there is a part that says explain.
We mentioned i was refused Canada visitor visa twice but just realised we didn't mention i was refused visitor visa to the UK in 2014.
What can we do to rectify this ?
Is this going to cause any issues ?
Is this misrepresentation ?
I just received AOR
