Yes, we are in the exact same boat as you. Outland, UK, no transfer yet, sitting in Sydney as well. Application recieved Dec. 11, 2018. No news since medical were passed on March 3, 2019.

I am in the same boat. Only, our background check has NOT STARTED YET. So at least you have that going.
See my TL in signature. I called my MP and they spoke to CIC on my behalf and everyone says just keep waiting. Nothing we can do.
