Guys I have a small problem here. I paid the biometrics same day. But the webform has an error of uploading the receipt. So I sent my letter via webform without attaching the receipt for biometrics but I just mention the details of the receipt, till now I dont have any response.

I am in Canada and my wife and kids are in Dubai.

Can someone tell me the step by step procedures of making done the biometrics.

If I need some form and ask my wife to go to Canada embassy in UNited Arab Emirates for fingerprints?

When did you submit the web form?

Once they’ve accepted the payment you’ll receive a biometrics collection letter, you can book an appointment at:

https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/uae/

I’m not sure if they do walk ins there but take a look round the website and it should say somewhere.

You can resubmit the same payment receipt via web form. Usually a confirmation comes in 5-10 business days.
To do the biometrics wait for the request from IRCC

Based on the table, most people who applied in November and even October didn't get PPRs yet.

FYI - More status updates... aka more stuff we already know
I just noticed a *new* message in a textbox above the status bar in GCkey
This message was not there for me from day 1 when the bar first appeared. It showed up today.

Yes, Biometric usually comes before transfer. I don't know about uploading police certificate. I think you can upload the scanned document but please call IRCC to confirm if you also need to send the original copy to them.

The application got transferred to the Paris office but no biometrics were requested before that.. They asked us to pay the fee which we did a few weeks ago.
