To keep PR you need to be in the country for 730 days over the last 5 yrs. Can days before getting PR count toward this number? My wife has spent over 300 days in the country over the last couple of years but I am considering working abroad in the future and am curious. Thanks in advance
That's a period to keep your PR. The time before getting PR can't be counted. Say you became PR Jan 1 2018. So, next time, Jan 1 2023 you will need to extend your PR for the next five years. To do so you will have to prove you lived in Canada for at least 730 days prior Jan 1, 2023. That means any period before Jan 1, 2018 doesn't even count.

Definitely marriage certificate from the country of issuance. If you are married in a foreign country you must get that document certified translated as well if your document is in another language. You should have a certified translator translate official government issued documents like birth certificates, marriage certificates and police checks if they are not in English. Example: our marriage was registered in the Country of Costa Rica, we provided official verified document of authenticity and had it certified translated because it was in Spanish. Some translators can charge anywhere from $45 - $100 per page of translation FYI.

It's helpful to include up to 20 photos of you together, wedding proof, money transfer history or shared finances, bank info, income info, proof of living situations and/or visits etc. Proof of visitation can include flight info or airline tickets, all pages of passport photocopied for both, and any travel documents showing visitation. Facebook statuses, up to 10 pages of messages (WhatsAPP, Messenger or Texts) or other time-stamped correspondence between you two, letters of references for you both from family and friends, letters attesting to the validity of your marriage from other professionals, all things proving the legitimacy of your relationship. All photos should be labeled with the full names of the people in them with their date of birth and the date the photo was taken on the back. Messages (like WhatsApp, Messenger, Texting etc) should be translated if in another language other than English, but since these are not official documents, you do not need them certified translated. Ideally when choosing photos with the two of you together to document your relationship over time, pick photos depicting different situations, locations, outfits, and hairstyles.
My wife got her medicals done. The hospital provided the completed medical form(the one cic sent us with picture attached and details of physician etc). Our question is do we need to upload it to our online application linked to online account?? If so which field do we need to upload it under?
Also what is aor2? Is it confirmation that application has been moved to another visa office? Example: Mississauga

AOR2 is sent to the PA when the local VO has receipted the application. Not to be confused with the email the sponsor receives about the application being transferred to the VO.

No, you don't need to upload yourself. The clinic should use e-Medical to upload it for you. AOR2 is when your visa office receives the application from Sydney, NS and sends you email confirmation to further process your application.
Wow, that's good to know. I could SWEAR this didn't used to be the case and you could be abroad as long as you were with your citizen spouse and had been residing in Canada prior. I definitely need to find time to do some more research on the residency obligation boards!!!
