for me it showed decission made on ECAS for both Sponsor and Applicant, however I did not recieve any email after elgibility, nor does it show under cic login, under cic it shows processing and elgibility review. what does that mean?

Hello there, I have a question.
I just got medical passed, and the background check is in progress. It also says that they will need additional documents for the application, and they would send an email and letter with more details. So I was wondering which kind of documents will they request?

It could be a police certificate if you have lived for 6 months or more in a country other than Canada since the age of 18

In my case, cic account status changed to we are reviewing your eligibility after receiving AIP. And before receiving SA letter, ECAS status changed to DM on sponsor side .

But I did send the one from my home country. So they might ask a police certificate from Canada as well?

They might, not always though. I did send mine as well from my home country upfront together with my application. but they still ask fingers print from RCMP here, because I have lived in Canada for more than six months since I arrived.

I hope everyone is doing well. I checked my ECAS account for sponsor side and it said they sent decision on application on dec 03 but I didnot get anything. Any idea what it means ? I got SA on Nov 30 though.

Hi! I called IRCC today and they said my application has been approved today in the morning and its just not updated on the PA side. She said it will take 2 weeks for landing interview date.

what office will your landing interview be held?.. I'm awaiting a landing interview date as well; from Etobicoke office.

Hello, please share how was the process to get finger prints here in Canada from RCMP. Was it challenging/easy? Does CIC send you a form to complete along with instructions? Please share.
