Hey guys, what documents i need to apply for citizenship
i was out of status from Dec 2015 to April 2016, but my work permit application was in process during this time which was declined in Feb 2016 and i applied for express entry (Jan 2016) before my work permit was declined
do you think this will be a problem but i got work permit and my permanent residency after that

I will strongly suggest taking legal advice from an immigration lawyer. We can provide insight into things that have happened to us or someone we know but in your case, the matter is very serious. Go speak to a lawyer, if you need recommendations for good lawyers you can request here and people might be able to point you in the right direction.

No Just follow the docs in the checklist. You might have to take the originals at the interview tho.
