2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

Yea if he applied and being out of status over the 90 day limit and didn’t apply for restoration, he will get the work permit only after the PA approval (AIP) which is usually the last stage of the whole process. And would probably land shortly after being a PR. I would ask for a refund since it’s usually pointless.

If it is for the sponsor then it is SA, if it is for the sponsored person it is then AIP

Jan 2. 2018............................Application arrived at Mississauga processing centre
Feb 8. 2018............................AOR received, application linked, schedule A and Police Check requested
Feb. 8. 2018.........................OWP application linked to online account
March 20. 2018......................Schedule A and PCC (FBI) uploaded (reflects as uploaded on CIC account)
March 23, 2018......................up-front medical sent in via client specific inquiry
April 18, 2018.........................OWP approved in CIC account (awaiting permit in the mail) with no health field restrictions
April 25, 2018.........................OWP received in the mail
July 3, 2018............................RCMP check requested
August 3, 2018.......................RCMP check uploaded
Oct 26. 2018...........................AIP email/eligibilty passes to SA and CIC changes to “we have started reviewing your eligibilty”
Oct 29. 2018...........................Both sides "DECISION MADE" (as per ECAS)

Hi All,

I sent Family sponsorship in-Canada file with OWP on September 14th.
I received file number for sponsorship file on October 12th.
My OWP file was returned due to incomplete fees and I sent again on October 20th.

Can anybody guide me on when can we expect the OWP approval? Also, My wife got one offer letter from Univ of Toronto.
Can we flag poll and get her OWP from the border?

Pls guide. Any inputs will be well-appreciated.
