I am over 3 weeks now too as I got my letter on October 1st and still nothing. I called CIC about a week and a half ago and they told me to be patient. It took us 4 hours of calling to get finally to an agent (not kidding), so I really don't want to go through that again. I even uploaded the proof that I paid with my application for the PR fee, and they did acknowledge that, but not a peep about an interview.

You don’t have to upload any type of proof of payment. Everyone got exactly same DM letter with saying if you didn’t pay the PR card fee. It’s say only (if) you didn’t pay. Some people mistakenly payed Twice. Btw we have to wait anyway can’t do much about it
I hope you can work it out and reschedule your landing appointment soon.
Could you please let me know how long it took to get the landing letter after DM? And when is your currently scheduled appointment? I'm in Kitchener too, and I'm anxiously waiting for the landing letter!!
I'm in Kitchener as well and got the landing letter for Kitchener downtown office. However, I couldn't attend the interview as I'm travelling outside Canada and I'm struggling to reschedule the interview. They sent the letter without any contact information other than the IRCC number which is always busy.

Yes, I knew that....I was just hoping that if they looked at my file one more time they would realize they need to schedule my Vancouver appointment...LOL

They have rotating strikes so it isn't stopped it's just slower. It will impact it a bit but not a huge amount. I imagine if the strike lingers they will get legislated back.
HI anyone,
Became PR on the 21st Jan 2007 the left Canada.
My PR expired in 2016. My husband and son in Canada. I am in and out with my visitors visa.To obtain my visitor visa I had to renounced my PR.
Now My husband had submitted sponsorship
From 2007 till 2012 I was working. MY question is
once I get my new PR what will happen to my pervious CPP diduction?
And will that 5 years burn? Do I have to start all over again?
Thank you
amry
Hi all, after sending more proof that relationship is genuine, I passed eligibility requirements to be sponsored (today!). My partner got approved as Sponsor 2 weeks ago. I still haven't received any requests for fingerprints..What is to expect next? I apologize if this question has been answered already, I feel lost with this procedure and all abbreviations...Thank you!
If you go to the main "how long will it take to process page" there is a link there that says if you've passed twelve months submit via webform, you can send a query through that. I don't know I personally think the more you inquire the more they work. I could be wrong but it did work for us.
Hey guys.... tomorrow is my husband's landing interview ... fingers crossed ..!!
Anything we need to be aware of prior to the interview you guys think???
He is just asked to bring in photos . Fee receipt and passport and for me just an ID
Try not to be nervous they are only ensuring what you say is what has been submitted ( my husband was so so nervous ! ). They can see all your information on their screen. Other than that congratulations ! it will be easy compared to the last year
