No they didnt. I ordered GCMS which dated in October. The eligibility at that time changed from Failed to Recommend Interview. But I never received a call or interview requirement. In November I got two ghost updates and on 23rd ppr. I actually reordered GCMS on 21st November so basically I will know what happened on my file this month

Correct. No interview, neither phone call nor in person, and got PPR. I have already got my passport stamped.

Unfortunately a lot of scammers are trying to get in Canada under the guise of a "student", reality is that most of them are middle aged people who trying to get PR through S1 at an odd age through nonsensical progression in studies. Hence it's common to assign "Interview required" to such candidates.

It's suggestive to not to worry about the "Interview required" remark as long as you are under 25 years of age with a descent profile as it will change to "passed" most probably.

It's usually only the the older / married people who get treated more vigorously and some may come out of it luckily like @TFTXMJ (was refused first outright for obvious reasons). Hope you are aware that you are old and don't let the conversation get too far that requires someone to inform you the facts. I believe you are informed
