Hey! I just want to know if someone has a similar experience as mine...

I have a pr and my husband from Colombia applied for a visitor visa on october 25th, we got some messages from canada the next day of the application (confirming that they received it) but havent heard any reply yet, he already got his biometrics done a year ago so he dont have to re-take them, the processing times says is 30 days if you applied from colombia but at least 40 days have past

honestly i dont know what we should do... just wait? someone has a similar situation?

Make a choice from the option
Click the button that says IRCC Portal Account
Then register
Invite code will show up on screen
Copy it
Login with it on the new portal
Use the email Code to complete authentication
Proceed

Hello,

I submitted my parent's visit visa application last September 7, 2021. I used the new IRCC Portal. If anyone is on the same boat, let's share insights and updates.

September 7 - Application Submitted
September 10 - Biometrics done

No request for medical as of the moment. Intended to stay for less than 6 months, but hoping to travel this november 2021.

UPDATE: Sorry for the late update. Parents are here now and will stay here for 6months. Also, they are eligible to get the vaccine recognized by Canada (for free). I’ll try to update the key points during their travel from the Philippines upto the Point of Entry (Vancouver).

I am wondering my mother did not mention about her US refusal in her visitor visa application and she got refused but she did not get misrepresentation. I am concern if she apply again and mention her refusal will officer could reject her file because she did not mention in her previous refusal

Hi, how did you register in the new IRCC portal what is the invite code ? I'm having challenges to register.

I registered my self and they sent code in email! It should be straight forward.

Finally got PPR for my sister!!!!
First application was submitted on July 14, GCKey.
Second application submitted on portal: Oct 12
GCKey application withdrawn: Nov 22
BVL and PPR: Today (Nov 25)
Applied from Nigeria, VO in Nairobi, Kenya!

Did they mention the same in refusal. what was reason of refusal ?

No they did not mention the same in the refusal letter. They just mention that they cannot give her the visa because of purpose of visit.
