URGENT: Do I need to write a cover letter?

I wrote a study plan application answering all the questions regarding my purpose of stay in Canada. Now do I have to write a cover letter giving the same answers again. I could include a list of documents I submitted but the VAC will rearrange all my documents anyway. So do I need to write a cover letter? Please answer quickly!! I’ll leave for the VAC in a few hours!!

you don't need to.. the checklist form will cover for it, just tick the submitted documents on the checklist form
