I submitted my Canadian study permit application on May 3, 2018. I mistakenly submitted my mother’s past three months’ bank statement instead of past six months’. I also wrote a cover letter but I made some mistakes there like rewriting the same item and not signing the letter. Will these make a bad impression on the Visa Officer? I should mention that I wrote a separate study plan and my cover letter is just an introduction to my application containing a list of the documents I submitted. They have NOT started processing my application (it has only been forwarded to Visa Office in Singapore). Should I send my mother’s past six months’ bank statement and resend an updated, revised and signed cover letter? Please answer quickly!! I am worried to death!!!

But CAN I resend the documents?? I submitted my application on Thursday. Friday and Saturday are government holidays in my country (Bangladesh). Visa Office in Singapore is closed on Sarturday and Sunday. So can VFSglobal VAC help me? My application tracking system says, “Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXX Your Visa Application has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, Singapore on 03/05/2018. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.” I am so worried that I feel like I am going to have a seizure!
I don't think it will affect it because even VOs don't work on weekends.. you can call the VAC helpline to make your inquiries.
I think you can still submit it.. just go to the VFS you used and maybe they can help you out. I know someone who forgot to submit a document but went through same process with a confirmation email sent afterward
