all the countries local authorities you
lived in
Thanks a lot for this note. Now I see why most of us wait for so long. I only lived in China and USA before I came to Canada. I wish CSIS won't spend too much time to delay my dreamed PPR

not necessarily raising hopes up, but there is still a chance you can be processed fast. coz really depends on your VO as well. my VO unfortunately only revisits applications which are either on their 5th or 6th month, based on the latest status of people who have gotten PPRs. as for your BOWP, there was an exhaustive discussion here in this forum before. since your eligibility is already "Met", you shouldn't have issues with BOWP. i'm PNP outland btw.

Hi @prcand, thanks for sharing your experience. Given what you have said Im also expecting another 3-4 months wait. I'm at least hoping that having applied for it I will at least be successful in getting my BOWP as my Open Work Permit expires on 26 June.
Also what's your category?
would you know how they define countries where you "lived"? i think in one of the forms, there's a list of places that you need to declare... and purpose (ie, tourist or business).

Usually the countries you lived in for 6 months or more. The countries you had their PCCs.

What really they check under Security? I should not have any problem with security but probably this is what delaying my PPR. All other things are passed......even in GCMS noted it is mentioned, Final: Approved.
Information on Security checks can be learnt from :

Hi all hope you can help; my GCMS Notes said Eligibility: Met. I've seen other peoples notes say; Eligibility: Passed.
What has to happen for mine to say Eligibility: Passed?
Thanks for all your replies.

I'm not exactly sure when it changes to "Passed" but mine was "Met" when I received my GCMS notes a little over a week ago & PPR came days after

Thank you so much for your reply @HudsonBanks. Fingers crossed mine may do the same. One other thing for my 'Security Check' it had status 'Not Started'. What did your status say for 'Security Check' on your GCMS Notes?
However as I am Inland Applicant I don't think mine is so fast as yours. Inland applicants appear to take 6 months or more.

You're welcome, always glad to help. My security check status was "Not Started" as well. I hope inland applications pick up some speed.
Unless you have some powerful OCR software, you can use Google Docs to do some OCR on your GCMS notes. Although it couldn't read the whole 200+ page file, I just isolated the Notes pages of my GCMS notes in a separate PDF (using Preview on Mac OS X), uploaded that to Google Drive, opened the PDF in Google Docs, and it gets converted to text.
I really couldn't be bothered to retype.

Hi,
After reading your comments i checked again in my GCMS.
Mine also says met, however when i scrolled down on the pages in the section where we have application1: application2, etc
there i found that application 13 says eligibility updated to passed on Feb 12. Than later on Application 4 states eligibility updated to Met on Feb 23.
I hope this helps

This is really good insight into how eligibility check progresses, that means it shows "Passed" before "Met". I'll check mine out to see as well.

Thanks @kirtivsingh, appreciate the insight. Will go and check mine as well.
Update: Word for Word. Exactly the same thing. It was initially "Passed", and then gradually as each 'Application' progresses it goes to "Met" (except mine is on Feb 26).
