How much money pay for it?

Your friend would have to apply online by paying 5 CAD

OR you can use a professional service like below, she charges 40CAD for first notes

I asked your VO cause, Ottawa have a tendency to update MyCIC BG check "in progress" when they actually start the BG check. Unlike other VOs who update BG check "In progress" when actually it's completed

And I asked for A35/A37 because for your past country of residence (AFG), IRCC often likely impose additional security verification i.e. org. crime etc.

There is nothing you can do, Security is a big variable depending on number of factors it may take a month to a year, CIC will not let you see though gcms notes what exactly is happening during security review
