Hi everyone...my mom applied for a TRV last march 13 and just yesterday she received an email informing her that she needs to undergo a medical..My mom is 67 y/o and she plans to visit canada for less than 6 months..
Before,they dont usually ask for a medical if you stay less than 6 months,is this a new thing now?anybody here has experienced the same situation..thanks..

Yes I heard about this one. I just can't find the thread for it. The applicant complied to what is requested. Although when I applied for my mom, she is 70, they did not ask for a medical examination. I guess it really depends on the VO.

Interesting. I hope they will not require one for my mom. She is 58. I applied last March 15 online. It says on the status "you do not need medical". I'm hoping she'll get the visa.
