TRV Application Delay and Urgent Travel Inquiry.

After contacting IRCC through webform and calling them couple of times, I received an Information letter stating "Unfortunately nothing can be done to your request to expedite the application and there is no guarantee of time when the application will be finalized."

Not sure what this means, I have my tickets booked for the whole family for 1st Dec

It means there is no way to speed up the processing of the application and IRCC cannot tell you when processing of the application will be completed.

The wait time for TRV processing is months so people need to plan 6 months in advance if possible.

Sure, will update! When did you apply? I raised several web forms and contacted IRCC more than 20 times but no luck! They do not have any information.

Was in same boat , its ok you can travel another country i did the same .
i went india on sept 28 without trv approval

and after everything done , i got back in canada on dec 6 2024

November first week, flying mid of next month. This is too fucked up by ircc

Lol, they are not giving the decisions in 40 days as well, people are waiting for 3 months and some people are getting their decisions in a week, no idea what these clowns have smoked.

Dont quote me on that but all I have read on the groups and internet is you can go back and send your passport for stamp in India after approval but be prepared that it can take 6 weeks to get it stamped, its too random these days, if its not urgent, shift your plan for a month ahead but if it is and you can afford to be stuck there if things go south a little then there’s nothing stopping you.
