Was in same boat , its ok you can travel another country i did the same .
i went india on sept 28 without trv approval
and after everything done , i got back in canada on dec 6 2024
How did you get trv stamped? did you inform ircc before you flew or after approval when you got PPR? Please help thank you in same boat.
Dont quote me on that but all I have read on the groups and internet is you can go back and send your passport for stamp in India after approval but be prepared that it can take 6 weeks to get it stamped, its too random these days, if its not urgent, shift your plan for a month ahead but if it is and you can afford to be stuck there if things go south a little then there’s nothing stopping you.
do you have to inform before leaving or after approval because i don't want them to transfer file to India - been waiting since nov 9

It actually isn’t. 3 months is not very unusual especially in some parts of the world.

Nope it is, the official processing time before December was 18 days and a lot of my knowns got their approval in 10-15, so there is no way 3 months is normal. We are talking aboutvtrv approval here not pgwp.

I tried raising several web forms and contacting IRCC over call. Also I applied GCMS notes and connected with local MP. Finally I received my approval on 27th of Dec.
