Use your PNP to apply the work permit. I'm on the same boat:
App received March, 30, 2012
AOR April 25, 2012
Medical: the end of May, 2012
Application Status: application received - Medical results recieved
I applied my work permit on 11th Sept, 2012 with my PNP. You can submit it online. I didn't get my work permit yet. My current work permit is expiring on 30th Nov, 2012
@ Believing...How re U, quite a while, my brother am happy to share with U the arrival of my PPR yesterday, am so happy and relieved...hope to see U soon in Manitoba, Take care of U brother Mii...
i am working in oversea since from last 2 year. As i got AOR from CIC-VS but i am not sure which VO they pass it over. The letter has contact address of india. Still i havent got any AOR from Local VS office (either india or singapore). i have given emails to CIC but no answer yet.
So i need to know what is the timeline to get AOR from local office and MR. i.e. New Delhi. is there any way, where we can track whether which VO is alloted to my file.
Please confirm if ur working in Canada or some other country. Your case is some what different as ur working overseas. Have u received AOR through email or regular mail? I do feel that by this time u must have received MR.

All the required tests are mentioned in the letter you receive from VO. Tests like Blood Test, Urine Test and Xray of chest are carried out. You can consult your family doctor and show him the tests requested by VO. If required one can have these tests done outside and check every thing is ok before going for actual tests at the given authorised office.
All these are routine tests and don't worry about it ;D
