when the expiry of your passport is very near, never to apply for any visa or travel. visa/entry to a person is only up to the validity of passport so the officer at port has given the entry up to validity of passport.

I think the person is talking about the CBSA expiry date stamp on the passport not the expiration date of the actual passport.

When I applied for immigration to Canada, I have submitted original PCC and few affidavits in original and these were returned to me after processing of my application.

You are right...Maternity EI Benefits are part of special benefits...hence considered for sponsorship eligibility. Below links talk more about it.

Not sure about Paternity though. Forgot as I read the details sometime back.

I need some information about how to change the address for parents file for India .

i want to change the mailing address for parents file. i received a letter that my file is in New Delhi and i have to communicate with them si i sent an email to them but they replied me back that file is Ottawa and i have to communicate with them. Then i sent an email with all information to Ottawa office but no confirmation no reply. then i called call center they said file may be still in Mississauga. But i sent a request through web form and no reply as this is very urgent.could someone please tell me how to change the mailing address on parents file in India. Hi Nav,

One quick way to update the address is through ECAS. Login to ECAS with your parents information like if your dad is a primary applicant, enter his details. File number, you dad's last name, country of birth, birth date. It will show the sponsored person's information. Update the address online. It will be effective within 5 business days.
