there is a system mistake at missisauga. there are so many cases that repeats the same story and after 40 days of SA received a mail/email from missisauga Office that your file is at LVO Ottawa. I am too. just go through the spread sheet you must find more than 15 cases like this and five cases are only from India.

Yes I noticed it but I got Spinsorship Approval on July07 but my ECas says Application Received only. In absence of any information I doubt whether my file is transferred from NDVO to OTAWA or is with NDVO? Eagerly waiting for medical.

Hey folks. Are there any updates as to what the expected timeline for application processing is? CIC still claims to be stuck on Nov 2011.

My mom has a supervisa but when she came , she was given only 6 month stay which is going to expire in Nov . Has anybody tried extending their stay ? How long before the expiry can you apply for extension ?

No problem at all. Don't worry just apply online and everything will be fine.

Thanks _MK_, just want to double check that your parents do have non-English/French entry stamps on their passport?
Also, did you just submit a copy of the information page (the page with picture), or a copy of the whole book?

As far as i remember, only the page with the picture and personal details are asked. That is what i sent.
There is no need to send extra info.

As for immigration stamps, those are not even asked for this application. I remember having to send those when I was applying for my own PR. Even then I did not certify them (I had a bunch of stamps that were not english).

Hello,

Does anyone knows how long it takes to get police clearance certificate? If in case it doesn't come on time, then can we submit the receipt for it. I have applied for PCC from vancover to Bangalore, India. Please help with your suggestions.

Hello Seniors and SME's.

I have a few questions on PCC. Please help.

My parents visited me in Canada last year and stayed with us for 10 months.

1. Do I need to get a PCC from Canada as well. Would CIC clearly mention that in their request.
2. If they do not mention it can I just get the PCC from the home Country alone ?
3. Anybody who already got a PCC from Canada, how did you request one when your parents were not in Canada.
4. Do you need to do the finger prints ?
