Hi forum members. I have some good news to share! My family got PPR today from Pretoria LVO. MyCIC still says background check is "in process" and ECas just says "medical results have been received". I applied for mum, dad, and younger brother. They submitted medicals and additional documents on August 8. I'll also update my info on the spreadsheet.

Yes. It changed recently.

It means CIC is officially saying that there are 10000-20000 apps in front of us depending where we are in the 2016 queue. This coupled with them targeting 20k people every year indicated that a lot of us should have the process complete late next year.

Even better news of 2014/15 applicants.

After long time checked my status and it changed to processing since Aug 17. LVPO : Ottawa Jan 2016 first 5000 batch

Hi ABD12345, mine changed on the same day as yours, but when I click on it, it still only says "We received your application.... January 4, 2016". dose yours still show the same thing? Thanks.

There was nothing in the beginning, but now there is a line added stating we have started processing your file on 19th August.

Congrats MissFrowz! That is wonderful. My parents did their medical on August 16 and waiting for remaining police certificates to be sent to Singapore LVO. That is relatively quick for Pretoria LVO. Just wondering how long did you have to wait for your police checks and what additional documents did you have to submit. :
