Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

That doesnt make any sense. How can they deliver it at 7:30 when they start accepting the applications at 8? I am sure its a typo.

If the driver left - he left due to his employer's rules/policies. Don't blame the driver. Blame the company. Another driver for the same company would have done the exact same thing. They have an employer and aren't at liberty to decide what they want to do. They have to follow their employers rules with regards to delivery protocols.

Accepted that but when you have 700 packages don't you think that's really important and you need to consider the fact that it has to go?
Also company needs to send a separate truck to this location to deliver it and no other deliveries for that guy. 700 itself is his weeks quota of delivery.

Agree.. If we cant make it this year then there is another year.. We still have a chance.. lets hope and pray..

If my application doesn't meet the cap this year, next year I will use Santa Claus !!

same here. If anybody could guarantee me within the quota, I'd be OK with $5000 delivery charge.

makes me wonder... what's stopping local courier company from camping someone at the door for weeks before and guarantee first 5000 spot?
charge say $500~$1000 per, makes quarter~half a million $? geess....

They will accept the applications - but will then return them without opening them or processing them.

My app was returned in 2015 due to the quota but I noticed that they had opened the application and stamped it as "received" on IMM1344 form. So looks like they do open the application perhaps to scan it in the system.

I noticed on the spreadsheet that we have already a Purolator received at 10:08AM... hope this it the 700 application already...

ABSOLUTELY. Also, I hope 9:00 AM delivery is not a mere slogan. The guy with the rumored 700 applications hopefully realizes that

Nothing. If I could not get in this year. I will fly to Toronto next year, pay big money to the first in line courier. 8)

Mine was delivered at 10.08am but that was through Purolator's Same Day service not the 9/10:30 service.
