Not really true. We have a number of individuals on this forum who have successfully pursued mandamus to force IRCC to make a decision in their case where their case has taken an unreasonably long period of time. Immigration is not above a writ of mandamus. Of course it's a personal decision whether to spend the money and mandamus works best in situations where the applicant's processing time has significantly exceeded the estimated processing time.
Hi, Last Friday i have received email from IRCC
AOR letter number start with G...... , Spouse Biometric and additional documents request .But I am unable to link it with my Gckey account and also unable to check status online. Please guide
yes, my application June 2021. no update last 4 month after receiving pre arrival letter. Very disappointing. The Canadian immigration officer/ system are the laziest in the universe.
How is your application now? It has been more than one-and-half years since you posted this message. Could you please share what will happen next when the file is transferred to the HM office? Appreciate for sharing anything with me. I am experiencing the same thing.
I asked them 3 times, although the first time is because they unilaterally changed my birthplace from the city to the province so I could not link my application to GCKEY.
On GCKEY it still doesn’t say anything about eligibility passed though.
