Immigration is not above a writ of mandamus. How is your application now? It has been more than one-and-half years since you posted this message. Could you please share what will happen next when the file is transferred to the HM office? Appreciate for sharing anything with me. I am experiencing the same thing.
 
Just received my prearrival letter, turns out sometimes you have to annoy them with GCMS notes in order for them to do things…

Received first email 21 February 2023

which says background check is processing

I asked them 3 times, although the first time is because they unilaterally changed my birthplace from the city to the province so I could not link my application to GCKEY.
On GCKEY it still doesn’t say anything about eligibility passed though.
