Actually Manila is one of the offices where they ask for the passport immediately as soon as they get the application. Don't know why they do that but PPR in Manila doesn't necessarily mean that the visa is on it's way shortly. It might take a month or two, maybe even longer still before I get the passport back. Hopefully they don't hold it for too long.

My husband still hasn't gotten anything in the mail At least he got an email.

He was wondering if other's who got their AOR, is it a regular sized envelope? This is the one that comes with stickers right?

Yep, regular letter sized. They stuff the envelope, though so it's a little thicker. It says it's from the Consulate General of Canada with the Buffalo address and they put a sticker on the front with the applicant's name and address that's sort of faded and hard to read. Looks like they were running out of ink on mine :

Wow!! Manila..they work so fast... I should have send to manila..too.. ;D I looked at Singapore time line..OMG!! they take too long..I can't wait that long... ...

Email is ok atleast it brings hope to success.
Yeah, I got my AOR via email.
The following day... I got my AOR by the mail too.
It was in a regular brown envelope.

Sorry, I am confused what sticker did you mean here?
Although, the envelope that I received got to 2 stickers in it.

1. sticker in front of the envelope which contains my name and address.
2. sticker that contains my Immigration File Number.

Ok, hope this helps a bit... and any ideas/experiences from others too ... welcome ...

I've added a couple late July and would early September, but I'm afraid June is a bit far. There is a June thread lurking around the forum. Thank you so much for contributing, again!

2. Yaya Marei - I have heard of stress delaying, but a 2 month delay is stretching it!

hello nyssa... ur most welcome. i apologize... but the cause why I joined on August thread is ... I consider myself being one of the August applicant. Although my husband started to file our application last June... but he made a mistake and the whole package of application was returned to him by CPC-M last July. He forgot to put his signature on 1 page. So, by August... he sent the application again to CPC-M. That's also the reason that there are delays in our application eventhough we started last June. I am really sorry to make this complicated...
