Mine was opened on the 21st. I'm thinking the delay was because I didn't have my Option C in there. A lady at immigration was very nice and checked the status, saying there was no mention of missing documents but they may have sent me a letter requesting it. Either way, she gave me the number/my client ID and told me to fax it, which I did yesterday.

It's so stressful, though. I just want to be approved already.

Hello and congrats to all the new "In Process" applicants. Quick question - I noticed that some are receiving emails from Buffalo including their AOR's. Is that because you included your email address on the original PR Application? I included my email address so does this mean they will communicate this way or not necessarily?

I'd like to say random since mine was at no specific time. but I dont' know for sure.

Hi everyone...

My husband got the official AOR in the mail today. One interesting thing is that his letter says they started processing on the 21st, while ecas tells us the 22nd. No big deal really but I thought it was interesting. So happy to have the official paperwork! Now I wonder how long we wait!? lol

Nelly72: I think it must depend on the IO looking at your case because I gave them both of our email addresses and we only found out we were in process through ecas and received the AOR in the mail... no emails!

AngelB: I am sending QUICK processing vibes your way. It is hard to wait for ecas to finally show something. I have also wondered if they only update on certain days. It seems like there are certain "hot" days like Mondays or Tuesdays doesn't it? I wonder if there is another thread out there that answers this for us?

I have a question, does everyone get a letter telling you the interview part is waived? Or do some people just never get asked to an interview and the next thing they get is the PPR?

I don't think you get a letter that says the interview part is waived, they just don't ask you for one. Anyways, I just got my AOR and PPR today!!! Wohoooo!!! Sept 30, Manila time.
